On August 6, nearly 40 students from 11 Chinese universities who participated in the UN Youth Training Programs visited the Chinese Mission in Geneva and had an exchange and discussion with the young diplomats. Minister Li Xiaomei and representative from the World Federation of United Nations Associations attended this event.

Minister Li said that Geneva is the birthplace of China's multilateral diplomacy, as well as one of the world's main centers of multilateral diplomacy. She elaborated on the mission's active participation in the reform and development of the global governance system, and efforts to build a community with a shared future for mankind, encouraging students to study hard and maintain a global vision to make a contribution to building a better world.

Young diplomats shared their experience and insights of multilateral diplomacy in various aspects of human rights, disarmament and public health, etc. Both the diplomats and students were immersed in the warm atmosphere.
