On April 30, 2026, H.E. Ambassador Jia Guide, Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations Office at Geneva and other International Organizations in Switzerland, met with H.E. Ambassador Nahida Sobhan, Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the United Nations Office at Geneva.

Ambassador Jia Guide stated that China and Bangladesh share a time-honored traditional friendship, and the peoples of the two countries enjoy a deep bond. China stands ready to work with Bangladesh to continuously deepen the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the two sides.
