On 3 March 2026, H.E.Mr. Jia Guide, Permanent Representative of the People's Republic of China to the United Nations Office at Geneva and Other International Organizations in Switzerland, met with H.E. Mr. Ibrahim Khraishi, Permanent Observer of the State of Palestine to the United Nations Office at Geneva.

Ambassador Jia stated that China firmly supports the just cause of the Palestinian people to restore their legitimate national rights, and remains unwavering in adhering to the two-state solution. The two sides have all along rendered mutual support on issues concerning each other’s core interests and major concerns. China has continued to speak up for Palestine on multilateral platforms. China stands ready to strengthen coordination with Palestine to jointly uphold international fairness and justice.

Ambassador Khraishi expressed Palestine’s deep appreciation for China’s strong support and assistance to the just cause of the Palestinian people to restore their legitimate national rights. Palestine admires the historic achievements China has made by following the path of peaceful development, and looks forward to China playing a more important role in global governance. Palestine stands ready to strengthen cooperation with China and jointly safeguard multilateralism.
