On April 15, 2026, H.E. Mr. Jia Guide, Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations Office at Geneva and other International Organizations in Switzerland, met with H.E. Mr. Fedor Rosocha, Permanent Representative of the Slovak Republic.
Ambassador Jia noted that, China and Slovakia have maintained close high-level exchanges, continuously deepened strategic partnership, enhanced political mutual trust, and advanced practical cooperation. In the face of the turbulent and unstable international situation, China is ready to work with Slovakia to continuously deepen traditional friendship, practice true multilateralism on the Geneva platform, work for the reform and improvement of the global governance system, and make greater contributions to world peace and development.
Ambassador Rosocha stated that, the China-Slovakia strategic partnership is developing rapidly and smoothly. Slovakia attaches great importance to its relations with China and firmly adheres to the one-China policy. Slovakia stands ready to strengthen communication and coordination with China on multilateral plarforms in Geneva, jointly uphold multilateralism, and actively work for the reform and improvement of the global governance system.
