On October 15, 2026, Ambassador Jia Guide, Permanent Representative of China to the United Nations Office at Geneva and other international organizations in Switzerland, met with H.E.Mr. Joaquin Perez Ayestaran, Deputy Minister for Multilateral Affairs of the Ministry of the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs of the  Bolivian Republic of Venezuela.

Ambassador Jia noted that, China and Venezuela are strategic partners. In recent years, our political mutual trust has been steadily consolidated and cooperation across all fields continuously deepened. The Chinese side stands ready to further strengthen multilateral cooperation with the Venezuelan side at the Geneva platform and jointly uphold international fairness and justice.

Deputy Minister Perez said that, China is Venezuela’s good friend. The Venezuelan side looks forward to strengthening the all-weather strategic partnership with the Chinese side, deepening cooperation across all fields, and firmly upholding our common interests.
